C.N.A. (Certified Nurse Assistant) II COURSE
Requirements:
*High School Diploma or G.E.D.
*Current C.N.A. I Listing
*AHA CPR Healthcare Provider Certification & T.B. Tests due before clinicals.
Skills & Tasks taught include:
oxygen therapy, suctioning, tracheostomy, break-up and removal of fecal impaction, sterile dressing change & wound irrigation, IV fluid assistance activities, elimination procedures, nutritional activities, urinary catheters, and the role of the C.N.A. II as part of the Healthcare team.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be listed as a
C.N.A. II with the N.C. Board of Nursing.
MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION
24-HOUR TRAINING COURSE FOR MEDICATION ADMINISTRATION. REQUIREMENTS:
1. C.N.A. I OR II WITH ACTIVE CERTIFICATION AND IN GOOD STANDING ON THE N.C. NURSE AIDE REGISTRY.
2. MUST HAVE HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA OR GED.
